Visiting the CN Tower: Skip the Lines, Skip the Hype, or Both?

When to book the LookOut, when to add EdgeWalk, and when to skip it entirely.

The CN Tower is exactly what it sells: a 553-metre view of Toronto, the Islands, and on a clear day, Niagara. Book a timed-entry LookOut ticket online — same-day walk-ups can be a 90-minute wait in summer.

The Glass Floor is the photo moment. Bring socks if you are squeamish about looking straight down. The 360 Restaurant rotates once per 72 minutes and the elevator is free with a reservation — for many couples that is better value than the LookOut ticket alone.

EdgeWalk (hands-free outside the pod) is a real bucket-list item but it is weather-dependent and not cheap. If you have already done the Sydney Tower Skywalk or similar, the CN tower version is comparable, not superior. If it is your first time, do it.
