About this tour

Winter at Niagara is its own kind of magic. The mist freezes mid-air, ice shelves form below the Falls, and the entire parkway is lit up for the Winter Festival of Lights. Our winter tour swaps the seasonal Hornblower cruise for Journey Behind the Falls (open year-round), adds a hot chocolate stop, and includes a brief evening drive through the Niagara Parkway illumination displays.

Highlights

  • Journey Behind the Falls (year-round attraction)
  • Frozen mist & ice sculptures at the brink
  • Winter Festival of Lights drive-through
  • Hot chocolate stop on the Parkway
  • Optional ice-wine tasting (in season)

FAQ

Does the Hornblower boat run?

No — the boat is dry-docked Nov to Apr. We substitute Journey Behind the Falls, which is open year-round.

Is it too cold?

Dress in layers, bring waterproof boots and a warm hat. The bus stays warm; outdoor stops average 15–25 minutes.
